Dovetail mounts are made to offer broad compatibility with most dovetails railes. However, it is essential to be aware of the exceptions in rail dimension by other manufacturers.

BSA & Gamo employ a 13mm dovetail rail, while FX and Walther utilize a 9.5mm rail. These dimensions are different from the standard 11mm dovetail rail.

Fitting these standard dovetail mounts on to oversized/undersized dovetail rails may lead to incorrect gun/mount/scope alignment and can result in sliding or rocking when installed.
